An Introduction

Hi, guys, welcome to Stephy’s new blog. It is my first blog written in English. What a great challenge! For the next three months, I will show my perspectives on social media marketing as part of my course requirements. Hopefully “blogging” will be a good habit for me to continue to share my ideas and life when this semester finishes.
Firstly, I want to say something about the unit MKF5601. This unit totally amazes me, not only because of the lively talkative class, but also the vivid communication platform and assessment forms. I hope we will enjoy this unit more during the semester.
To be honest, I was rarely involved in the “Western Social Media World”, because these stuffs are “blocked” in China, including Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, etc, we fail to log in any Western social media from any web sites within the territory of China. Certainly, this is a sensitive political issue. But I always use Chinese social media, such as RenRen (a Chinese version of Facebook), WeiBo (a Chinese version of Twitter).
Let me show you some screenshots of my Chinese social media…

With the increasing number of overseas students, we sincerely hope that one day the “blocked” will be relieved when we are back China. Only in this way can the large country really develop fast. Agree with me?
